So let’s get started!
If you have been following the blog,
you know how much I enjoy decorating with natural elements.
If you are new to DP, welcome!
So glad you are here!
It has been a busy week here at our home.
Decking the halls is in full swing!
While many rooms are full of totes, boxes, and bags full of decorations
yet to be displayed
I have managed to make our work space a woodland delight!
I love the etching on these cow bells.
THE WORK COUNTER
I love vintage ornaments and cloches.
I used a metal wall @ to create a stand for the cloches.
A vintage garden gate makes an industrial backdrop.
A seasonal paper mache deer head was transformed-
bedazzled in decorative paper and glass glitter.
And who doesn’t love burlap?
An old white drawer and greens create a holiday vignette.
Chunky twig pencils make a great display accessory in the home office.
Spools of Baker’s twine are easily accessible for holiday wrapping.
A few holiday gifts under a faux tree makes a simple festive grouping.
THE HOMEWORK STATION
A sofa table is re-purposed into additional work space for completing homework.
A simple textured decorative box is a touch of holiday glam.
Our piano was decorated with a few accessories for the holidays.
Do you play?
A cute little rustic snowman smiles under a glass cloche.
Vintage glass ornaments
are found adorning the slender Christmas tree.
We also display our handmade ornaments-
Brown hydrangeas were cut and used to decorate the tree.
I love the texture and rustic feel they have.
I used a basket and ribbon to create a unique tree skirt.
I am having a deer obsession this season.
This guy is one of my favorite finds.
this wraps up my Woodland Work Space,
but feel free to browse around at my home tour…
…and then hop over to the other blogs on this tour.
